Our Organic chickens are reared with the primary aim of minimising stress in the birds. This allows the birds own immune system to fight off disease, doing away with the constant need for drugs. The birds are reared in small groups, allowing them to establish a social or pecking order, this avoids feather pecking where each bird knows its place within the hierarchy.
