Organically Speaking is a small, friendly family run independent retailer established in 1999. Initially we begun by operating a vegetable box scheme delivering to our local area. We have since extended the areas that we cover and vastly expanded our product range to include Organic Christmas Hampers, Organic Skincare, Organic Vitamins and more. We are also happy to be a part of the Ecover Refill Scheme.
In July 2004 we opened our first shop in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire and as well
as all the delicious Organic Fruit and Organic Vegetables we also stock an increasing range of Organic Groceries, Organic Dairy products, Organic Meat and Fish, Environmentally Friendly Household Products, Organic Skincare, Organic Herbs and Spices, Organic Hampers (including Organic Christmas Hampers)and gifts to name but a few!
We aim to provide a 'one stop shop' for all your organic requirements and with this in mind are constantly updating and improving on our product range and availability. We have recently upgraded our product range to include Organic Christmas Hampers, Organic Skincare, Organic Vitamins and more. When you do visit our shop, please ask about the Ecover Refill Scheme.
If there are products you can't find on our site do let us know and we will do all we can to stock it for you. Our policy is to supply British grown produce wherever possible and when in season. We also support other small companies who produce wonderful cheese, ready meals and other delicious groceries. Many of the products that we sell are from small producers, the likes of whom you will not find supplying supermarkets. We also endeavour to support local as well as British grown produce and so with this in mind deal with organic farmers for a wide selection of our meat and vegetables that is within a 25 mile radius of our shop in Hampshire.
We are a small team of people whose main objective is to find the most fantastic Organic Products such as Organic Christmas Hampers, Organic Skincare, Organic Vitamins, and to provide the fantastic Ecover Refill Scheme to all of our customers. We also take pride in our work and endeavour to offer you - our customers the best service we can in supplying these products to you. If you call us up, send us an email or visit the shop you can talk to any of us about anything as our roles are all inter mingled but here's a bit more about us generally.
Jess - Started company back in 1999, sources new products and keeps an eye on the old! looks after delivery customers in the local area, can often be found disappearing under a mound of paperwork! Constantly reorganising the shop (much to the despair of all who work here!) To find room for all the new products we want to stock. If you are a producer who wants to tell us about a great tasty organic product you think we should be stocking then give Jess a call!
Julia - Main responsibilities include looking after our courier customers, all of you out there that are too far for us to come to in our own vans from Penzance to North of Birmingham. Wherever you might be if you're out of Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire give Jules a ring and she'll look after you. If you are a customer trying to find a product but having no luck we will do what we can to seek it out and stock it for you - give Jules a call and put her detective skills to the test! Also devises wicked recipes for all our scrummy organic produce (please do let Jules know if you have a great recipe to share or visit the Oszone), looks after marketing and makes a fab banana cake, all in a days work.
Roger - Delivery driver extraordinaire, looks after website updates, makes a wicked cup of coffee, (very well trained even washes up). Rog is a font of information when it comes to spices, especially his favourite - Indian food or great BBQ's so if you want any ideas you know where to come
Bob - Our other delivery driver extraordinaire, move over David Bailey - move in Bob looks after website photos and anything else that we need a picture of! Also our resident Bob the builder when job requires it. When in need of peace and quiet in spare time can be found sitting for hours with fishing rod (don't worry he puts them back!)
