What are these boxes you talk about?
Every week we put together our selection of fruit, veg or a mixed fruit and veg box depending on what is in season. So each delivery your box contents will change so that you don't get bored and so we can offer you delicious seasonal produce. We offer a range of just fruit, just veg or mixed boxes to suit all needs and sizes, just call us if you need any advice.
Do I have to order a box?
No, our boxes offer the best value but if you prefer, you can pick your own fruit and veg from our seasonal selection. Or if you do not need any fruit and veg at all, perhaps you are growing your own, there are plenty of other product ranges to choose from. Why not try our storecupboard essentials, skincare, meat, fish or other lovely products.
Why can't I see what's in my box this week?
We like to be as flexible as possible and ensure that our customers only get the produce that they like included in with your delivery. To enable us to do this you have the opportunity to fill in your fruit and veg likes and dislikes. This means that while 2 people may be ordering the same box, the contents may vary if your dislikes list are different. For this reason all boxes differ so there would be no point showing what's in this weeks medium fruit and veg box for example because it won't be the same for everyone!
What are likes and dislikes?
Not all our customers like every fruit and veg so in order that nothing in your box is wasted we give you have the opportunity to fill in your fruit and veg likes and dislikes. A dislike would be a fruit or veg that you do not want included in your box because you are allergic to it, or you simply don't like it. It may also be because you would like it excluded for a period of time because you are growing it in the garden. So whatever your reason for not wanting it - whether permanent or temporary we call it a dislike for simplicity reasons!
So how does having a dislike work when we are planning our boxes? - Once something is on your dislikes list, if we have planned it for your box, we'll replace it with something else instead. We offer this service on all our boxes and do not charge extra for it. You can have as many dislikes as you want but please remember the more you have the more your box variety is limited as the produce is seasonal and therefore not every product on the likes and dislikes is available all of the year. If you have lots of dislikes you may find it more suitable to select your own produce from our seasonal selection rather than having a box where we choose the contents.

Will my driver collect my old boxes?
Yes we like to collect and reuse your delivery boxes, so please leave out boxes from a previous delivery to be collected when another order is due to arrive with you. Our vans are not huge so please do not store up 10 to return all at once as we will not have room in the van! If its wet weather we would appreciate putting your boxes in a bin bag, (especially if your collection/delivery place is not covered) so they don't get wet as we cannot reuse them once they get soggy. If the boxes are very damaged and no longer re-useable then please recycle them.
How do I amend my order?
You have full access to your online order details at all times. From here you can change or delete what you've ordered and the quantity. We hope that our website is user friendly but if you are unsure of what to do or would prefer to speak to us please call and we will be happy to help.
When is the deadline for changing my order?
You can make any changes you want to your order up until your order deadlines. If you have an additional request after the deadline we will do our best to add on if you call our shop but sorry no promises! If your order is being delivered in our own van we will deliver to your area on a set day of the week, this will either be a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. When you register we will let you know which day our driver delivers to your area. If your order is being delivered by courier you can choose what day you would like it to arrive, we normally deliver Monday - Friday, if you need your order delivered on a Saturday we can arrange this with our couriers but there is an additional charge, please contact us for details. What should I do if I need to cancel my order after the deadline?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to cancel your order after your deadline has passed. Unfortunately we get many items in to order so please be aware that we may still have to charge for 100% of your order if we are unable to re home it!
What do I pay for a delivery charge?
Own van deliveries
For deliveries made in our own vans there is a nominal £1 delivery charge, there is no charge for orders over £35.
Courier deliveries
Standard delivery and packaging within the UK is charged at £6.75. For all orders over £75 (excluding hampers) standard delivery is free of charge. Standard deliveries are made Monday - Friday. If you require a Saturday delivery this can be arranged but there is an additional charge, please contact us for details
The standard delivery charge is for one delivery to any single United Kingdom address.
Hampers and selected other products have different delivery charges and these are clearly identified in the product information detail
Do I have to have a delivery every week?
Most of our customers have a weekly order and you can arrange with us to happen automatically but if you prefer or just as and when you need a delivery.
Even if you are having a delivery every week you are not tied in - if you want to miss a week or are going on holiday this is no problem, just please remember to let us know before your order deadline for that week!
